My name is Maya West, and this is my online internet website. (Yeah, I’m looking at you, Angelo.)
I started this blog, in its original form/location, as a panicked 22 year-old living in London, where I spent two years trying to figure out exactly how many cigarettes I could smoke in one sitting without actually kick-starting a cardiac episode. (The answer? Many. Very very many.)
I am now a marginally less panicked 25 year-old living in Portland, Oregon, where I spend most of my time and energy being angry at my landlord, who will not let me smoke inside. What few hours I have left are devoted to sleeping, rewatching episodes of 30 Rock, and discharging my duties as an ‘abnormally-aged’ sophomore at Reed College (which usually involves a lot of lying on the kitchen floor making wookiee* noises at the ceiling instead of writing whatever paper I’m supposed to be writing).
It’s pretty captivating stuff, if I do say so myself.
